Seems fine to me.  Around town I'll never see above 20mpg in the 1.8T, on the motorway if I'm lucky I get 34/35mpg.

4x4 rules, anyway of dropping a 1.8t engine in it.  :nerd:
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

only a step backwards if you wanted power from the engine! but like you say, your not fussed! the 4mo would be a good all rounder!

the wooden dash can be gone in a jiffy  :grin:
my 4mo had 230 odd brake was a great car in the snow bit thirsty mind but the exhaust noise made up for it :grin:
