just the rear iirc - I ordered in some decent top mounts for the front from some VW outfit in london that I got the suspension and rear polybushes from but I can't remember what they were VR6 OEM Ones?

as for the rear polybushes... they were the decent purple ones.. can't remember what they were called either (in fact can hardly remember my own name today! ) Will get it fully polybushed then

anyway... yeah... I would say waiting for the spring to come will reap rewards with the new wheels etc... I always wanted her on ATS cups but everyone poo-pooed it saying it was soooo 2007  ATS Work well on any Golf, even better on a clean example! I love haters!!!!

was thinking about you saying about lack of powaaar.... was wondering... apart from a decent service... what you could do to give it bit more pop. It already has GolfGTI.co.uk stickerrzz on adding 10bhp.  New cam? Hardly worth doing on a 8v, more power = more fuel and it is a cheap car to run so will leave it like that

have you any other plans for her? No plans, just intend to keep it clean and well maintained like it deserves

It was fantastic, so cheap to run and comfy too. I must admit thought I am wondering how well a VR would compare to a sorted MK2 16v (my old one)?

Things to sort out in the next month -

Needs a clean twice a week
Rear window motors need replacing and need rear sound proofing
Alloyz sorted innit (going red rims and grey centres)
A damn good service and laser tracking done.

And thats it really.

OMG You are sounding more and more like a MK3 lover every day.....

Look at a Mk3 & then look at a Mk2.....

I'm getting worried if the "Original MK3 Hater" can actually like a Mk3.... Pass me the  bag.....

Just standing up for the Mk2 Guys....

No no no, MK2's will always be superior!

When things pick up and I have more room a MK2 will be sitting in the garage (or a MK1)
