you can't knock the hussle, apparently  :tongue:

fyi, the plates themselves don't have the dealer stuff on the bottom. that would be the number plate surround that you mount them in to :)

Depends what you mean.  :undecided: The number plate surrounds aren't illegal but the German number plates will be as they need to be white on the front and yellow at the back with black lettering, unless it's an older vehicle, can't remember what year, but my camper has black plates with grey letters and numbers and that's ok. I think the German plate lettering style is technically illegal too, but not sure.  :undecided:

Way round it is get the plates and stick them on but have a legal set available in the boot so when the fuzz stop you, you just spin them a yarn about being at a show and you forgot to take them off and then put the legal ones on etc etc.  :smiley:
......now officially dubless.

they do yellow and white numberplates i got them from dubmeister at gti international ,they cost 50quid with surounds but i think that was a offer price at show exellent quality recommend them.

Saw a MK3 get pulled by plod at the inters for having the white rear german plate on.was gonna get some from dubmeister but they sold out of yellow ones..I have the surround for sale in parts for sale bit.£10 including postage.brand new

anyone got any tips on how to open these bloody things, got the genuine vag wolfsburg ones.. clipped em on now not highly sure how to unclip, credit card in the gap anyone?  :wink:

nope, the oens along from the club stand, autohaus-wolfsburg.de ones, the genuine vag, theres no tools with them, not ewven pop out like an airfix, the slat fits in at each end and clicks in at 5 points along  :undecided:
