Ive got a kevlar clutch and a new sachs dual mass flywheel fitted to my remapped tdi 130. It has had about 1500 miles on it now and feels good.

Still have a few issues with my clutch/flywheel but not really sure its down to being kevlar.

doesnt feel any different from standard if your conerned about getting one.

when you say still got issues....such as what?

I had new clutch and flywheel in september - 4000miles and it's gone weak
so had another new one fitted but opted for kevlar drive plate this time in hope it would be more robust.

I'm hoping it settles down soon - can't afford to keep getting gearbox out at £130 a time

What £130 to take out and re-fit the gearbox?
If so thats a bargain

issues i have are mainly vibration, changed engine mounts and bolts, which did improve but still not right. clutch just feels wrong, it sort of growls as you pull away but when you get it going its fine.

going back to have it re bleed tomorrow and a general look over, as apart from the slipping i was better of with the old one. which annoys me after thinking how much ive spent on dual mass, clutch, bearing and fitting.
