a few from the day they are not edited but i have cropped a few really enjoyed playing with shutter speeds and iso and aperture

Not bad for a first try.
The first one in particular is good with it's use of depth of field (ie the player nearest the camera is in focus but the rest are out of focus).

well sort of in focus :grin:

2nd is a decent angle. if your going to shoot more sports stuff id invest in a mono pod (about 10 quid) as it will help stabilize your shots at distance.

distance shots were a problem i was taking 3-4 to try and get a good one but sometimes no luck.

think im going to go again this weekend and have another go, i had problems trying to get everything in the shot i wanted but couldnt get far enough back or close enough lol. maybe just where i was placing myslef.

really enjoying it so far  :smiley:

the first photo was a acident tbh not quite sure how i came out with it, it was in AF with just the centre one selected and the camera in Tv shutter speed 250
