Firstly happy new year to you all.
Right I have trouble with my headlights so today after the old girl has been off the road for a few months I decided to get her ready for the road again so started looking at the problem.I started with just no full beam but have ended up with no sidelights either now!!The problem was there before it was taken off the road it is one of the reasons why it was off the road in the first place!
Right I have found that I have two burnt out wires 1 is the red wire from the light switch position 30 which goes down to number 23(I think) on the B plug on the fuse box, also the wire next to it on the B plug(number 13 I think) which is the red and yellow wire from the light stalk. They are burnt out in the B plug.
I thought I would replace the burnt wires but unsure where and what they do,I know they are full beam wires and they go to fuses 9 and 10.
Could I replace them with a new little loom and just put 2 inline fuses in there?
Also does any one know where they go after the fuses?and if they change colour?
I have a manual but you need a degree to figure them out lol
I have found there is an issue with the main light switch as well and I think thats why I have no sidelights as I removed the switch and used a wire to jump the connections and I do get sidelights, main beam, rear lights and number plate lights but still no full beam!
cheers in advance
