X-Box 360 & kinect
« on: 27 December 2011, 09:54 »
Has anyone seen any deals? It's looking like I can get a 4 gb x-box & kinect for around £250 with a couple of games but if you buy separately it seems like you can get two more games for a tenner more? I'm confused?

Edit: mods feel free to move this if needs be.

Well the Mrs has basically given me the green light to get an xbox as long as I get a kinect for her to do zumba etc so I'm not too fussed what games come with it but I wouldn't mind forza as I like driving games etc... I was thinking something like the following but how good a deal is it?

Pretty good as it's the 250Gb version with Kinect and 4 games. Dance Central 1 is pretty good and the missus likes it, so assuming the second is good seems reasonable, Kinect adventures is good and show cases what the Kinect is all about. Kinect sports is also good, the missus doesn't like it but I do.

Saying that I hardly use the Kinect as we live in a flat and when I manage to get on the xbox it's usually at night and I'm sure my neighbours wouldn't like me jumping around

If you don't like any of those games you can flog them on, but I think your missus will like Dance Central 2

i have read some where think it was amazon that you need about 6 foot of room in front of the kinect so it can see you. which is the only reason i have not got one due to the lack of space in front of my tv.

Hmm, I may have a similar issue! Will have to look into that!

Ye you need plenty of space to do it properly, especially if you are wanting to do 2 player. My living room is 14' x 13' and with our large sofa in there, its pretty impossible to play, even on your own
