You car looks great set off with these smart alloys. I’m a fan of the tartan seats however the leather dose look good on a white car.
Mine is Pear Block which was a big mistake. Wife choice not mine. White is the best on the GTI by far.

Just like the ED30, white and red really suit this model.
Looks lovely with those wheels, I can see them catching on and they won't suffer the problems of Monza Shadows or the 19'' Glendales(?) with their polished sections.

I'd be keen to know that too. Obviously the engine response will be different with the bigger turbo...

Not off hand but going by the prices of monza shadows and also the Edition 30 alloys expect £430-£500 each...

The dealer had to replace one of the wheels when i picked it up as it had a nasty scratch on it and they reckon it cost £500.

Golf vs Scirocco - The Rocco was a 140 Diesel so the power etc is not comparable. I love the looks of the Rocco but it was really uncomfortable, i put that down to being a coupe? I guess thats the only real difference, the Golf is bit more practical too - that makes me sound old!!!

Unfortunately the difuser is standard, i'm wondering if there might be issues painting it with the heat from the exhausts? My plan is to wrap the roof in gloss black too. The photos dont do the wheels justice as every picture I have makes them look small, they actually fill the arches quite nice.

The defuser being painted shouldn't be a problem with regards heat etc. Clio 200 defuses are gloss black and lots of 197s have had them painted too. Stone chips would be another matter though!

Looks great :afro: nice in candy. I like the leather but I do like the half leather seats that were in the Edition 30. Fab engine though.

I've just finished cleaning her and noticed that there is a 'guard' that sits underneath the front splitter, its grained plastice. I'm guessing its been put there to protect the gloss splitter so if your thinking of doing yours it might be worth looking into? If I can get decent picture i'll post it here.

Full leather is standard now on all GTD and GTi, so I had no choice. Personally I wish that they had stuck with the perforated cloth and leather mix that was in the press releases.

Nice car, i think the golf GTI, GTI 35,ed30, GTD's, R's and R32 is one of the very few cars that looks good in every colour.
