going go hunting this week......what do i need to look out for???

As the title says i'm going out to look for,and buy a mk5 GTI this week with the DSG gearbox and was looking to find some anwers to some questions i have

1) is there anything that i should be looking for that is a known fault with this model

2) @ what millage is the cam belt ment to be replaced

3) what were the options for this car above the standard kit,as i'd like to get one that's got a higher spec as possible
