Im sure k04 is an upgrade for them.

agb and azb were s3 engine codes, and it says here

that it was fitted with k03, thats for b5 model, the b6 had the 4.2 engine bbk code.

na mate the S3 (old shape ones) APY on early cars (KO4) and then the later cars had the better engine coded either AMK or BAM. these also have KO4.. i have this engine in my MK3

New S3's also have KO4 too

the audi 1.8t have ko3s on them and the s3 have ko4s on them the s3 engine is 225bhp as standerd,, not after a estate want a 3 door gti but i must say looks in good nick,,
