The thing that hosed it for me with a Scirocco and nudged me in favour of the Golf was something the girlfriend pointed out.

"The vast majority are driven steered by women!"

(Except the R which I have yet to see a woman driving yet!)

Very surprised at that, I am a female and think the "Roc" is probably the ugliest car in the VW range apart from the Beetle that is.  It resembles a Golf that's been flattened by a meteorite  :grin:
