So what this video proves is that it's ok to ignore road safety law provided you can question the policeman into submission.

Excellent, just the mentality that has kept our country so disciplined.

The copper wasn't assertive enough. The copper doesn't get owned, he's just clearly pissed off with encountering yet another twit.

But the cyclist was being a cock and blatently avoiding owning up to jumping the red lights, didn't have the face to just say sorry. Then the cyclist runs away like a pussy, twit

TBH, I've never encountered a problem with cyclists. If I were to cycle, I'd probs do the same within reason as long as I could ensure mine and other road users safety. The copper was clearly flustered and when questioned, didnt know is job (incompetance? your decision) The cyclist knew what he was talking about. Fair enough, he could have gone about it a bit better and apologised, he may have just been given a telling off. But fair play to the bloke if you ask me.

That cyclists is a prick and deserves to be knocked off his bike
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

Did the cyclist run the red light? If so then he deserves to get a ticket and the Office should have known how to deal with a smart ass trying to squirm out of it.

More training for the Officer and a big smack in the face for the cyclist. Cyclists traveling at speed can kill or badly hurt pedestrians too.

+1. Copper kept his cool for a long time imo.

Disagree. No way can any copper be expected to know every piece of legislation to the letter. He probably does know the important part of it but I don't think reciting it on camera to some annoying little tw@ would be that easy. If he really couldn't remember it I bet he went home that night any looked it up.

People need to remember that coppers are just normal people like us who have to do a job which is made harder by tw@s like this.

What a complete cock that cyclist is. Doubt he would be so happy if the police stopped policing the same laws with car owners and one ran over the child he was supposedly going to pick up whilst running a red light/zebra crossing. Im no great fan of the poilice due to their cowtowing to a lot of the stupid laws used in this country but as someone else said earlier, they have a job for a reason and applying reasonable laws like this shouldnt result in questioning from the person in the wrong. As for the "the policeman should know what the law is off by heart" comments, whatever, you try learning all of the laws word for word and then recite them having chased some dickhead cyclist down the road  . As for trying to grab the camera, again, try dealing with an arogant f**kwit like that (and doubtless many others throughout the day) when trying to do your job and see how you get on.
