Not noticed it on mine tbh but then it is like driving miss daisy most days in there  :grin:

Yeah but it invariably just springs off.

The best filler cap I've had was a Renault which had a hook on the filler door and handle on the cap its self so it just swung there while filling up. Pity the whole thing was attached to a Laguna though.

The focus no filler cap is a good idea.

Well I find the cap holder works ok if you unwind the plastic connecting strip.

My strip coils up regardless of what I do. I was going to just cut it the other day as it would easily sit on the cap without it.

see i had the fuel sloshing on my larger tanked A4, I actively try to get that sloshing noise in the golf.

I think your safe, I know someone who used to drive half full petrol tankers for a living, sloshing = bad....VERY VERY BAD!
