Guy I do have my Microfibers in the back and they very wet at times useing them for drying the car off when its wet , but it has got better not as wet put more pkt's around the back of the car now. The car still steam's up front windscreen when driving though even with 4 50mil packets of the silica gel on the dashboad ?? Aircon works like a dream to shift it ,but surley I dont need to be driving with aircon on all the time?  :undecided:

you shouldn't need mega air con on all the time... if the car is misting up then fans on a low setting gently blowing over the windscreen should be enough to stop misting up while travelling

could be your wet microfibres... take them out and get the car nice and toasty.. then see if it happens again the next time you drive it

the van sometimes gets to the point where drips form on the inside of the windscreen if I am carrying wet microfibres & cloths about

Rainx do a anti-misting stuff but on a new car you shouldn't need it, unless the aircon is as useless as the Sharan's, even with the the dual zone climate control!!! I find opening the rear windows a crack helps clears it quick enough with the heating/aircon on. Always get the inside windscreen drenched if I don't leave the windows open a crack during the winter if I've had the heating on.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
