What is the best way to clean microfibre pads that have been used for applying polish and wax? Would they clog up the washing machine if washed in there? I did a seach but it seemed to only cover towels and cloths.

Get em in the sink with some warm water chuck a load of fairy liquid on them and give them a good rinse. Like pushing all the wax out with your fingers and thumb. Should do that job!
