Stick with a standard air filter box (smoothed) and a pipercross foam filter they are the only ones that avoid maf issues.

im running the k&n induction kit.along with a custom cold air feed.
it works well and keeps the inlet tempratures right down.
had it since ive had the engine and not had a problem with the maf or anything.

cant comment on the standard box because ive never had one.

Seems like the best opinion is a smoothed box and pipercross foam filter. Does anyone have a link to the filter i need? and any tips/guides on how best to smooth out the filter box.
