They are doing something about it, look at their margin. I like how VAT and duty are separate though :shocked:

Actually.. it doesnt. A ltr of volvic can be had for £1.05, and nearly half that price at wholesale. :nerd:

Plus there is an alternative, the tap. With petrol and diesel there is no real alternative  :sad:

Saw it a few months ago. Uncle works at the refinery down here, and bought home a work news letter. It had a pie chart with that on, and just makes u realise how much of a chunk goes to the government. Compared with the rest of Europe, it's a disgrace IMO.

Wouldnt be so bad if pump price was more uniform too!

On my travels last weekend the North is certainly dearer!
Didnt even look at Mway prices! But normal pump prices varied from 135.9 to 143.9
Whereas I pay 131.9 at local pumps.

Yeah its huge!! But tbh it wont change, we all reliy on a car etc to much! Like  you said, if you want water use a tap or bottled.

A real 304bhp 286lbft in a mk4 golf!
