Is this true from next year , if your mk5 is mapped will fail an mot ?  :shocked:

I think they have had a change of plan and leaving it as is for the moment regards ecu / software.

Knowing the do goody, touchy feely, tree huggy, politically correct dimwits in the government, they will eventually go down this route and when they do I'm going to buy a second ecu, job done.  :evil:
There is always a way around it, although how we would be able to legally insure our cars is another matter entirely!

Naaaah I wouldn't worry. Can't see this happening. Just another thing for politicians as tree huggers to talk about so they can justify their existence.

I was speaking to the mot tester yesterday and he said it would be a complete minefield to enforce if they did bring it in.
