I posted a new topic the other day but I think I might have been a bit of a tit and posted the standard about which tyres are best and when does the cam belt need changing which appears every other day I presume, so I would like to start over.
Hi, I picked up my Black Golf GTI yesterday, its a minter, Garaged from new, only 18,000 miles and a bargain £10,000. I am a bit of an enthusiast with my cars over the last few years I have owned some fun cars, Fabia Vrs (really quick little car) Fiat Panda 100HP, Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo (lasted a week then needed a new engine) Skoda Ocatavia 2.0l equivalent to the old golf GTI with 18" Audi wheels, and my mum had a mk4 GTI, every time I drove it the engine management light would come on so I didnt get on well with it.
I spent most of the day cleaning the car from top to bottom, but had a bit of a mishap on the bonnet, I think I clayed to large and area and the clay was a bit dry I thought It was just snagging on the ingrained dirt but it left a patch of foggy scratching, after an hour of polishing I managed to remove most of it an it looks mint but I think I will leave claying from now on as my heart sank when I saw what I did, I really thought I had buggered it!
Heres Some pictures:

This is the area I clayed badly so if you have do the same there is hope
