- Well obviously I don't have two landlines, but tried mobile to mobile, landline to mobile, mobile to landline. I've also tried it with the missus when she was at home. I rang her and told her to hang up and try ringing someone else. Sure enough I got cut off. How rude.

Nooo has to be landline to landline I think and it has to be the person who made the call that keeps the line open
