Doh, my stupid Netbook is letting me down with its crappy 100MB network adapter. I'll retest with my proper laptop with its 1GB NIC :D

But that being said, its not all that fair given I own a web hosting company :D

We're not a volume hosting seller ;) We provide specialised hosting - and as a result, we stopped taking online orders directly - so that we can spec up a solution to people's exact requirements.

Doubt that would happen now, Virgin laid cables in my town over 10 years ago and they've never been activated because it could give virgin a monopoly :sad:

That's pretty poop indeed! Do an average over different times in the day in off peak it should be quicker than on peak.

Go register on http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/ - and have a poke around in the Sky forums. The guys on there REALLY know their stuff and will help you isolate the issue.

Slow ADSL can be down to a bunch of different things, a lot of which, are well in your own control.
