they better not, much prefer the mechanical feedback. Apple did file this patent though

they better not, much prefer the mechanical feedback. Apple did file this patent though

The current Apple keyboards are pretty poor in regards to click feel and mechanical feedback.

I much prefer my Apple keyboard to the clunky PC one i have at work, i don't really want mechanical feedback as you put it

I tend to make loads of silly typos at work on this crappy Dell keyboard. I find typing on the imac wireless keyboard much nicer, although the wired version (with the num pad on the r/h side) is still my preference.

Plus its harder to get crumbs inbetween the keys on teh imac version! (except for the old ones witht eh clear plastic bezels). I've seen some sh!te caught down there on some of the old ones in teh studio....

I have gone back to the wired one for the same reason plus got fed up changing the batteries lol need to buy some rechargeables, same as the mouse lol

Gott a say I find the battery life really good. It's been about 3 months since I last changed the keyboard batteries - the mouse probably gets changed every month though (I always forget to switch it off).

I bought the Apple rechargeable batteries when I got my iMac, but suppose it will depend on usage.
