CBT is A1 pal...

The 18 year old on the R1 must have passed his test, he would not have been allowed to do direct access at 18 and therefore had to be limited to 33brake for 2 years.

You can only ride up to a 125cc bike on a CBT.

I don't know why that guy on that website gobs off so much, sounds a right prick. Its quite easy to understand.

Yep.

My zx7r was 33bhp for a little while. Why you would restrict a 1000 is madness. Literally stripping it of 100bhp and paying extra insurance for it. Would be better off on a 400/600 and learning how to ride properly by carrying speed and picking lines on the handling a smaller bike gives.

Well the shopping has begun....

Started with an undertray to get rid of the horrible standard crap...

Then moved onto the Rear light, CBR954 w/ built in indicators

Then I did a bit of research and started looking at dampers and won this lovely fella..

Maxton Adjustable steering damper.. Side mounted

Then boredom kicked in one night and I bid on an Akrapovic full system. It went for 290 quid, I bid 285.. Lost.. But the winner was eastern european and wanted to do "bank transfer".. Guy wasn't happy about it, so offered it to me for 285 and he would pick up the postage for it... So I got this...

p.s the big black thing is a crash protector by R+G.. The zorst is worth a fair bit so tbh I might leave it on a while...

Finally.. I couldn't resist this..

I have had to stop now, as I need to save for New York when I get back off det.. Money is already put aside for leathers, test and some treats.. Cannot wait!

I forgot to mention, I was talking to someone who races SRADS in America and he has sent me a full set of Factory Pro Jets to make the bike run with the full system and a decent air filter.. Hes included all the setups regarding the needle position etc..

Should be fun :D

The bike is at my missus rents as they have a double garage while I am out in Afghan. The old man has warned me I aint taking the missus on the back until I am competent on the bike..

I think this is due to my 1.9 tdi A4 Avant handing his A3 2.0d Quattro its ass through the twisties on the way home one night..

They live in Hereford and all the roads are constantly covered in sh!t from the farmers so theres no chance of me considering opening up the bike around there.
