After upgrading to Lion from Snow Leopard some people have reported issues, the way round it is either fresh install Snow Leopard or Lion (after backing up your sh!t first ofc).

Yep and its taking Fooking ages to do  :rolleyes:

Stick Winblows 7 on it, takes 30 mins to install  :tongue:

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Yeah like my £280 music editing software not working. Won't be upgrading either the OS or the software!

yh but prefer parallels do it all within mac, not fan of partitioning and swapping boot discs all the time

I have no issues with word on Lion are you running 2011 office ? In fact not had any issues apart from a cracked version of Photoshop wouldn't work.
