Horrid and £9500 for a Golf, think what that money could buy.

Tbh I can believe 280ish bhp with the mods, stand alone ECU and remap. It's probably set up to be 'peakier' than a standard ECU? More power at the top but less elsewhere sort of thing?
I dislike the rear bumper but like the cut down lights
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

No brown Golf3 will ever be worth £9500.

As the saying goes:

Quote
You can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter

Which given the metallic brown of this thing appears to be exactly what's been done here.

I have no doubt it's possible to spend £9500 on a Golf3, but expecting it back suggests a life lived in cloud cuckoo land.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Nice finishing and detail work on this car but that ''euro'' look is soo 2003

I did hear lots of LOLZ at the shows with that price tag.

Those rear lights look like seat ibiza items?

ohh and

lot of graft gone into that thing, i'm on the verge of liking it but na.  problem for me is when someone customises a car to this extent, I feel they make it personal to them and I wouldn't enjoy it the same.

Yes you are right... But you can still admire a car which has been modded to the extent of the one in question, even if it's not to everymans taste.

DH, DOA and F17BAD, keep the bickering to pm's, as I for one am getting more and more cheesed off with the 'my dads bigger than your dad' comments.
