thanks. That's an old picture, I still had my power steering reservoir back then. I'm trying to do away with the silicone turbo intake pipe in the near future.

How much did you 007p hose cost lol

When i looked, as my DV is located there too, they were like 30pound plus  :laugh:

A 1.5meter 25mm fish pond hose was bought, wrapped in black insulating tape then put on all for about 6 pound  :grin:

alright ladz,ive been looking at these silicon hose sets that you have recommended and was thinking of buying some for mine, but are they really worth getting to make your engine better or purly for show coz of the pritty colours?? :smiley:

Depends what you mean by make your engine better, it isn't going to give you more power unless you got a boost leak in one of the hoses your replacing. But the silicone hoses are more durable and less prone to cracking and splitting which you are likely to experience with the original hoses, especially as the mk4 are getting quite old now so it's not uncommon to find a few leaks here and there.
But the hoses do help tidy up the engine bay  :cool:
