« on: 20 September 2011, 23:10 »
Straight to the point, bought a 2.0 gti a week ago. Love the car iv'e owned about 6 cars in the past 5 1/2 years iv'e been driving (mainly french 306 gti6 206 gti ect) but this is by far the best put together.

Basically i want a 1.8 20vt already any good insurances for these cars? I have 3 points and a claim for a crash i had.

Cheers

Straight to the point then...

It will depend massively on a number of factors, including age, driving experience, value of car, where you live, annual mileage, any mods or not.

Asking us to predict insurance costs is like asking how long a piece of string is.

It will be more than your 2.slow but less than a twin turbo R32 HTH's.

I used to be with brentacre, and flux, both were great but when i got my GTI admiral mods declared were miles cheaper. Flux etc couldnt get within £200 even though id been with them for the past 2 years.

I've just re insured mine, it's not getting any cheaper. Up to a few years ago there was always someone around who could at least match the quote.
