yeah i know, but it is bucking into first when it's cold a lot, and that must not be good. I already got burned for changing the rocker arm gasket with crappy fuel economy. So I have a feeling that golfs like to be left alone.
I'm spending almost 12 quid more per tank, so 10 fillups equal 120 pounds lost. That's what I've lost since the gasket change. So I might as well spend 100 pounds replacing worn parts..
but the car keeps bucking, so I will try to at least change the oil and filter.
If the car keeps acting up then it will be time for a new car.
I have to resolve the problem, cause the fuel economy is really really bad now. I will not be able to afford to drive it if it keeps driving like it is now. Just not economical with current fuel prices.
