ipod vs toilet

My lad dropped his ipod down the toilet bout 3 months ago now.
just tried it and the whole screen comes up white,thats it.



can they be repaired?
how much about?
is it worth sticking egay for spares/repairs?

what happens when you connect it to the pc? the fact it turns on suggests it's not f**ked but maybe the iOS needs formatting.
if windows detects nothing, or unrecognised, then yes its naffed

Stick on ebay.  People still buy broken ones.  My old ipod classic 4 died on me and I still got £20 for it
