Ran a Net Stumbler type program and stuck the wifi and on an unused channel and no improvement.

let it run for a few minutes then screen shot it and post the image up.

How old is the router? Are you using a separate wifi router for wireless?

Are you in the same room as the wifi router? If not how thick are the walls? and can you try from the same room?
Have you tried from a different wireless computer/laptop?
download a speed test app onto your smartphone if you have one and see what it says.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

10mb connection ,wired and still low ? Thought it was a bit slow lol.

will do mine when i get home but i reckon it probably topping out at 2mb lol i have adsl virginmedia as i live in a village  :cry:

I'm 10ft from the router no walls between. Setup was fine and nothing has changed.

It's a Virgin Media ( Netgear) Super(sh!te)hub.

Got my Mac on ethernet, running fine, the other halfs Windows laptop that won't even load speedtest.net



Going to download speedttest through itunes for my iphone as wifi is too slow!

It's about 2 months old, going to give them a bell. Can't even use another router as it has the bit chunky white cable straight into the back of it..
