It gets worse during harvest season because their habitat gets ploughed.

Or so the wives tale goes.

tis true, my house looks over a freshly ploughed field and we have loads of spiders  :undecided: i used to hate them but now i'm kind of used to them and just catch them and escort them outside or if the mrs is out flush them down the toilet.

I remember when my shed was full off them in my old house, I blow torched every single one, nowadays they don't bother me as much. Yet my parents shed never gets any spiders  :undecided:

O for FFS!

Man up the lot of ya!

Tis' a harmless Wolf Spider.

These are great fun as they are nippy little buggers and they jump!

Next time you find one, give it a gentle push on its back legs and watch it jump, they can go quite far.

Is it a wolf spider then? I thought it was a house spider  :undecided:

And fcuk me, if a spider that big can jump I can imagine my house being NYC and the spider being spiderman. Not good.

Well you see Andres, the term "House spider" is generic.
