But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

oh sh!t mate

Been like it for months now.

*shrugs*

It's only tin and rubber.

Doesn't make it any slower, or less economical and neither has it affected the efficacy of it as a tow car.  It still rules.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Why is it that a lot of women curb the alloys? Is it carelessness or can they not park because it being some one elses car?
I let my wife drive my MK5 all the time, she has never curbed an alloy, and drives a lupo, so the golf is a bit bigger than what she normally uses. She does however appreciate that my motor is a daily drive show car. And knows how important it is.
If she gets too close to a curb she will dip the mirror and take extra care.

Lack of care/concentration?

I mean they don't see it the same so probably don't think to concentrate.

I've curbed wheels a couple of time on a beaten up Escort I use at work for hauling crap around.

Simply because nobody cares and I don't put the thought into parking just do it as quick as possible. Plus I'm a completely sh!te parallel parker.

Where all my moneys went.
