If you buy decent coils you should not have any problems with them.. I'm running on 35mm sport Spax springs but still want to go lower so will be buying a set of coils real soon.

Do your research on the net before you decide on anything. have a look on Awesome GTI website they specialise in VW's

And don't be afraid to ask q's on here.. there is always someone that can help.  :smiley:

I recently had a MK4 GT TDI........ with Audi TT V6 18" alloys!  I also had it lowered on Eibach springs B4 shocks - never had any problems with this setup!
