VR6 Transplant for under £1000!
« on: 18 April 2005, 21:14 »
Whilst out last night in my Saxo Slayer, i was happily parked up munching on a KFC when a doggy Renault Clio pulled up, the lad who approached me seemed pleasant enuf, and kindly offered to rid me of £800 for a Mk3 VR6, (complete car).
I took his number and have been toying with the idea but to be honest i think the fuel bills would crippel me! If anybody else is intereted then let me know as i can pass on the lads number? Oh yeah it was in Weston-Super-Mare.

Well, there is no harm in looking at it i suppose?!
What would be worth saving from it?
Engine, mounts, loom, gearbox, clutch, hubs, brakes, seats, dash, anyother suggestions?

If you dont buy it give me a shout lol,,

seriously though you should take that you will get your money back no probs. i have just picked up a complete vr6 conversion ( new project in my garage ) for 550 so you getting a whole car for 800 squid is wicked.

I paid 1100 for a damaged highline and sold the engine and shell for 1250 - leathers made me plenty of profit too. so buy it and make yourself some dough.
