Purchased the new starter today, cost me the best part of a ton! £18 sur charge when I bring the old one in though so at least that's something. I also bought some new rear numberplate LED bulbs, some yellow sidelights and some yellow headlight bulbs as the weather is getting all crappy and dark. I will get some night shots when the bulbs arrive and are fitted!

Where are these drastic changes then? It's nearing the end of october!

Bloody hell that starter motor was expensive. Paid just over £50 for mine 6 months ago!

I've always wanted a black car so that is on the cards with a bit of a twist. Because I have had trouble with the starter its kinda set me back a bit. Still might be able to get some paintwork done before Christmas If I am lucky  :wink: However, I have just found out that my sisters fiesta needs MOT so that has to take priority  :angry:

Really? where did you get it from? That was from Kevin Coopers, It was the cheapest I could find! Compared to £115 from GFS!

Bit of an ebay special, but 2 year warranty is as good as you get from ECP/GSF/TPS etc and its decent quality imo.

Only problem is, mine isn't a GTI! I'll have a look for one though!

Found one to suit :) Its a good job I was picking up the one from KC tomorrow and hadn't paid for it yet!
