Rev counter reading wrong

Cheers anyway Dom but i think it's a bit more than just the LCD, if you disconnect the clock and reconnect it displays fine, then after 5 mins it shows a small bit of some writing, i can still see the arrow showing whether it's on mpg, temp etc but the mfa button doesn't move it at all, think the actual board is glitched/fried somewhere

Fair enough, I had a screen go in my first Mk3 and it was just a case of replacing it. Yours sounds as if it's something more sinister though

The clocks or the screens? They're in the bin but I can fish them out?

Just checked the speedo using the sat nav and it's fine, it's about 2mph out but if i recall correctly so is my van, at 50mph the nav said i was doing 48mph and at 100mph (i mean 70!  ) i was doing 97 so it looks all good

Speedo's are always out.They always show more than the real speed.They are made like that.
