Well said.
Stereotyping is a big problem, people tend to see everyone in a certain group to be the same.
The question is, what drives so many people to behave like this?

As i said previously i work with children and i have said for sometime now that the biggest problem with most children today is that they are spoon fed crap from their parents from a young age and we live in a society of young people who think they should be able to get "something for nothing" I personally don't understand this beleif that its ok to sit back and let others do all the work while they reep the rewards, but its there all the same. And i don't believe that all young people are the same but the problem may be that the majority think this way.
Lets face it since Cameron came into power cuts have been made everywhere, health service, schools, police force and even the armed forces... People are being told they must work for longer therefore there aren't as many GOOD jobs for the next generation of academics coming through college and uni etc... These young adults spend so many years dedicated to their studies only to find that they have to get a job in their local mcdonalds because there is nothing else out there.. Taxes have been increased as has the cost of living and yet most people have seen no difference in their wage slip this year.. Britain has fallen on very hard times and us British are well known for our ability to complain when we aren't happy about something so maybe these youngsters have given up all hope of ever being able to make something of their lives... Again i cannot stress enough how disgusted it makes me to see the scenes i have on the news over the past few days but i'm just trying to make sense of what seems like senseless acts of violence

I agree with all of that.
Its like 1980's Britain all over again. What drives the rioting? i don't believe all of it is just mindless violence.
The conservatives are cutting very quick and very deep, the people at the bottom are bearing the brunt.
Still no excuse for the violence.

Just heard on the radio:
"Initial investigations reveal that he (Mark Duggan) most likely did not fire at police officers"
