Odd opinion

I have a friend who is a car nut also, and he insists the the mk 4 is the squarest car he has ever seen, and he drives a new mini! Am I the only one who thinks the mk 4 is not a square on wheels with some nice curves on it?!

is your friend a woman?

if not why is he driving a new mini?

if he thinks the Mk4 is square has he seen the MK3?

compared to the girly curves of the Mk5 on the Mk4 is boxy but it's still get enough curves to look modern and enough hard lines to be manly, your mate is clearly either;

a c*nt
blind
unable to tell the difference between straight and curved
winding you up
unaware of any pre 90s cars
all of the above

Your friend is correct, while Mk1s and 2s, are things of iconic beauty, the Mk3 resembles a barge, and the Mk4 resembles a skip...

Mk3's can be confused with Mk4's as they are often found in a skip.

Mk2 is more skip like, especially  if you turn it upside down and the rot like them :lipsrsealed:
