hammerite is fine tbh.. you can go VHT paint and lacquer which will be much better but they all lose their shine after a while.. it doesnt help on the front the amount of heat in the calipers due to breaking which the back dont have..

I thought it would be the heat tbh, i was kind of hoping to bring back the shine and protect it really rather than paint them, the cars only got 5500 miles on it!
are they bare metal? could you shine them back up then clear laqueur? just a thought.i have used hammerite in the past - excellent except it takes AGES to dry. Halfrauds do a cheap and cheerful quick dry caliper paint but it doesnt stay vibrant for that long

Sorry mate they all go that way after a while unless done properly.. could always ask dealers to sort it but they 'may' laugh.. just wack some hammerite on them unless they brembo type calipers then VHT paint
