One of my mates used to have one of these but the 160bhp version. It was fast.You have to wonder though, had Rover decided to introduce these sorts of models when they producing the 200/400 late models, maybe things wouldn't have gone the way they did.

There were also various GSi models of the 200/400 that werent particular slouches.

I probably could but I prefer it to the mk4. Besides we are moving to a house with a garage soon that is further out of town so the mrs is gonna need a car (she wants another polo).And Im hoping to have a mk3 project in my garage
