how old were you when you got engaged/married?

I got engaged when i was 23, proposed on her birthday by sending her on a sort of easter egg hunt around our town, gave her a clue which took her to one place, where she got another clue and so on, eventually leading back to our flat where i was with the ring.

marriage lasted 3 months. brilliant...hopefully next time it will last longer!

Married in April this year. I was 28 at the time. I asked her whilst she was doing the washing up!
Every time I booked a meal, looked at holiday brochures, bought her flowers etc etc, she just blurted out "you gonna propose". I didnt want to be pressured into it, as her family kept asking me when I was going to do it as well. So I dragged it out for another 2 years (Been together 5 years). I ended up thinking that there was no way I was gonna be able to do it in a romantic way as she would expect it, She didnt expect it with her marigolds on let me tell you!!!

I'm thinking about popping the question just now. Known her 7 years, been with her nearly 3 and I moved in with her a year ago, seems like the thing to do. Plus I'm 24 next month but she's 27 so she's at that age where she's thinking about getting pregnant. That worries me because I've heard pregnancy can develop into a bad case of infant if left unchecked...

Got together when was 15, engaged month before my 20th, bought our own house at 20 getting married May 25th next year, both at 22.

Met at 19, engaged at 20 and married at 23 - some of the best years of my life. It went downhill after the wedding, no one ever said they get stroppy, moany and all-round arsey AFTER you've spent that much money on one day.

Met in 2000, moved in together 3 months later and got engaged 2 months after this. I got down on one knee at a Mate's 21st in front of all our Mate's. Been engaged since but still no sign of the wedding yet. Want to do it properly for her so will have to wait till the car's finished    Still got 2 cracking Daughter's together and a nice home so must be doing something right together    Marriage nowadays is just a piece of paper.
