Buying new car: Golf Vs Polo
« on: 11 April 2005, 17:54 »
Hi all,

My mum's after a new car, so it's either a Golf or Polo... both new.

Was wondering which she should go for, she'll probably go for the lowest trim.  Being on the Golf GTi forum, I'm probably gonna get biasd views, but hey... at least you guys know what your talking about... better than posting on the MR2 forum! lol.

The current Polo's been around for a while now.. is there a new one coming out soon?

Thanks for your help,
Ed.

Welcome to the site. I guess the views will be biased but it's down to what your mum wants, if she only wants a little economical run around then go for the Polo, if it's something a bit bigger go for the golf, but it'll cost more. They will both be reliable motors and Polo's are cool, tell her to test drive both.

Oh yeah, I don't know if there's a new Polo coming out soon.
......now officially dubless.

Just read Test Drive magazine, there is a new Polo on the way so u might be better off haggling a good deal out of the stealership. Get a higher spec car for less!!!
