sorry for the n00b question, but wat did the funk button do?   

My idea it to make it a two stage boost switch...   I have see customer use it to replace the ASR button to make the car funky and light the wheels up :-)

I'm going to have to get me one of them. Love it! Is it as simple as just getting a screwdriver and popping it off then wacking the new one in?

Yep    also comes with a loom so it lights up
