Good mronng my felllow gti friends,

Can someone recomend a good radar / laser detector?

I have just got myself a 3 door MK5 GTI and i dont wanna any problems...  :wink: :wink:

Laser detectors are no good, as by the time the device detects a laser the police have already got your speed. They only work if there is someone is in front of you as they do pick up some laser scatter.

And as for the cameras, well if you can't read roadsigns and see bright yellow boxes, you shouldn't really be driving  :rolleyes:

Snoopers are pretty damn good i must say, especially on motorways cos lets be realistic no one sticks to 70mph. They even pick up mobile cameras and gavvers with hand-guns on bridges etc, saved my mate 3 points and £60

They're also illegal now. The laser jammers/detectors. Only GPS Camera locators are legal now, the type that your satnav has.

yes but if you get caught you have to prove you use it for opening your garage door
