I've given up!!

27yrs of the fags, and I just stopped on June 25th at 08.30hrs. Haven't looked back since!!

Just thought I'd share that useless bit of info  :smug:

Same here... stopped on the 1st July and said i would do it for the whole of july. Dont think i will start again either.. stepped up the boxing training though :cool:

I read a really cool list of facts of what happens to your body day by day after you stop... very interesting, worth a look :nerd:

Good work gents and at over £7 a packet you'll notice the difference in your pocket too. One word of warning though, it takes six weeks for the receptors in your brain to disappear and if you have one puff of one ciggy you'll put the little feckers back in there and it will take another six weeks for them to disappear.

I tried a couple of weeks ago too, had a couple of 24 hr stints without one, then gave up giving up!

Its hard when everyone you work with smokes and offers you one all the time, then you come home and the missus doesnt close the door when she's out having a fag. It smells so good!!!  :laugh:

Meh, quittings for quitters!  :grin:

Holy crap i bought my misses a pack of golden V and it cost £14!!!
