Cheers Jman and C3PO (Love the name, do you have baths in oil?)

I'm fairly sure Thule make the VW bars, I doubt VW will have an in-house design department for this, companies tend to just do what they're good at, VW make you wait, Thule make Roof Bars.

Ebay's better that the VW accessories catalog for buying then, loving the advice, keep it rolling....
61 Plate GTD 5dr, Shadow Blue, 18" Charleston's, Flat Tyre Indicator, Cruise Control, Bi-xenon (With Dynamic Curve), Storage Pack, Winter Pack and RCD 510.

Just to add to the above, Thule do make Golf roof bars but I believe you need to measure the distances between the bars when fitting them which would take you longer than the Volkswagen ones and probably mean you would leave them on the car as it's a bit more hassle. The reason why I went for the VW Roof Bars was because the front one has a raised part which hooks inside of the drivers door frame (if you open your front car doors you should have a black circle at the top, this comes out and the roof bars are hooked inside) and the rear one sits between the two marks on the passenger door frames if you have a 5dr (not sure how it works on 3dr cars). For me it makes the fitting very easy, I am not fussed about having to take them off and put them on again.

Are the wheels bags £25 each or £25 for four?
I'd get some for my winters if it £25 for 4 - but if they're £25 each I'll just leave them in the bin bags they're already in!!
