This afternoon has been spent trying to sort a few interior rattles, armed with offcuts of boot carpet and adhesive spray most of the lower dash and centre console came off. Not been able to go for a drive to see if it's made a difference because it currently looks like this:

I also replaced my arm rest bracket which was broken:

A little b@stard has stolen 2 of my dice dust caps:

Old tailgate on while the current one is being sorted:

And a couple of quick pics of the paint prep progress:

A few more pics from the guy who's painting for me, Ive got the bumper back to get the car back on the road - not had a proper look at it in daylight due to the short days but it looks like he's done a great job.

It's all being flatted back and polished up at the weekend then it'll be refitted.

Picked all the freshly painted stuff up earlier, the smooth rub strip went tits up so he's spraying my standard rub strip over the next few days. He's done a very good job:

Car is slowly being tidied up now, new tyres on the rear and a wheel refurb after xmas and it'll almost be there.

Cheers bud :afro:

What happened with the strip mate?

It was all nice and smooth then the plastic welds cracked so back to square one. Lost motivation tbh, going to keep an eye out for one already done.

Same thing happened to mine when I tried to plastic weld! In the end I used araldite to stick some plastic in there then a skim of filler to give it the shape It was on the car for quite a while and it never cracked its now currently in the loft with god know what piled on top of it I had a look at it the other day and its still not cracked :D so I would suggest that method im sure theres a couple of pictures in my build thread to explain better mate

Cheers bud, I've flicked through your thread and had a look. What did you use as the filler piece? Another rub strip?

Also if you fancy selling it drop me a PM
