Connects2 / MFSW / Highline
« on: 06 July 2011, 13:37 »
Anyone have any experience with the Connects2 and getting it to work with the buttons on the multifunctional steering wheel and getting the information to display on the Highline?

I installed the Motorola TK-30 with Connects 2 module at the weekend, works fine but can't make use of the phone button and highline screen.

Supposedly I can also control the music from the steering wheel via bluetooth and titles display on on-board computer.

I tried activating the Telephone (77) from Vagcom, but it just errors. If I scroll through my options on the on-board computer, it just says Motorola TK-30.

Am I missing a trick?

I have a quickconnectproducts.com harness for my parrot and I recall I had to use vag-com to go in to the steering wheel module and change the configuration to enable the phone button.
I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades. Especially if your teammates are bad guessers.

I used http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/156872.aspx when installing my multifunction buttons so it may help.
