cheers guys

it's becoming a p*ss take now, been without the car for 5 weeks now and i was told it would be about 2 weeks, then i called the garage and asked if i'd have it back by the end of the week and they said it'd be another 2 - 3 weeks, didn't keep me informed or anything!

then they called me friday to say the engine builders were having trouble sourcing a crankshaft and said they'd get back to me monday once they'd spoken to the engine builders again... called them yesterday and he hadn't spoken to the engine builders...

really annoying me now, it's ridiculous, it's almost as if they think i can just survive without a car indefinitely

exactly mate! apparently they've sourced everything now, pistons should be delivered by monday at the latest, and they'll get it back to me by next weekend at the latest

amazing what happens when you tell people a few things

Well lesson is (what I would do).. Source everything yourself, then give it to them to do it. I know that sourcing parts can be pain but at least your car won't be off the road during the process.

one of the crank shaft bearings came loose and seized the engine, so the engine was dead aha

so it had to come off the road...
