When I see your pics, is this the shell, or the plug? just curious

Thom

Hi Thom,

Every panel you see in my pics are just plugs, once i have used them to make my molds they will all be destroyed. All panels will then be made in carbon kevelar hybrid.

Cheers

Thought so, I built this about 4 years ago now, no molds available, had to do almost everything from scratch,  4 months of solid FG work, and hated every minute of it, built everything around the windscreen, as this was the only thing that I couldn't change! the car is a 69 Lola T70, I have a feeling that Ive shown you these pics before?

Thom,

The Lola T70 is my second all time favourite car! I dont think i have ever seen your pictures before, i'd very much like to see them if you have more?

No use to you now Thom but a company called MDA (I think) have molds for the Lola T70, I was chatting to the owner back around 2005-6 at Brands hatch, They built the GT40's that got used in a display outside the Goodwood festival of speed.

Cheers

It will be built onto a Lotus Esprit chassis, which will be perfectly capable of handling similar power to the original 478bhp. Hopefully that power will come from a 4.2 Jag supercharged v8.
